While Mom headed for the health food store to restock a couple things, dear daughter #2 (17 next week!) put together these super tasty burgers.
1.5 lbs lean ground beef
1.5 lbs ground chuck
1/3 cup GF Steak Sauce
1/4 cup milk
2 beaten eggs
3 Tablespoons water
Mix all together, shape into burgers, cook & serve.
This recipe made about 13 regular burgers (or about 26 juicy sliders)
We cooked these on our Cuisinart Griddler – another kitchen appliance that Sarah’s family and ours have in common, and one that we highly recommend!
The recipe used for the buns was the Gluten Free Miracle Mix (we used no cheese in this mix, just 3/4 cup full fat yogurt).
At first thought when the “moon pie” sized buns came out of the oven, I was not sure that they would be large enough to slice in half as I usually do – but as you can see, they worked out great – and even though they’re not really thick, they held together perfectly.
